What is the rotary attachment? Attachment to what?
You can etch glass by masking off the area to preserve with contact paper and sandblasting or by applying a chemical like fluorocisillic acid (any number of fluoride compounds).

Thanks for the reply. I know about these other forms of etching, but due to intricacy of design laser would be more efficient and leave no chemical footprint. rotary attachment holds the bottle and turns it while the laser is burning so the focal point may remain and the design be perfect.

Perhaps you meant "perfect, within tolerances." I see variable room for error.
