This is a free online class offered by Berklee College of Music through Coursera. The course is 6 weeks long and does require a time commitment, but if you take the time it is well worth it. This may really be a help to get you going further in your songwriting.

I took this songwriting course the last time around, and it was very informative and helpful.

This course will require some capability of recording on your computer in order to submit the class assignments. Most computers have built in mics, and you can download the recording software for free.

This is a great class, I just did the last session, and it really changed the way I approach songwriting now. It's all online-- you watch videos, take quizzes, participate in forums, and submit original songs.

And there are thousands of participants from all over the world taking the class together! It does take about 4-6 hours a week of work, and there are deadlines.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
