Hi Karel and Denise,
Thanks for sending out this survey.
I guess there are some weekends I am really busy, so wait until near last minute to sign up (esp. weekends I have my son). Also, about twice a month is probably the most I would want to gather to jam on a regular basis. I think your jams are great, and give everyone a chance to contribute and time to play whatever songs they feel inclined to try with the group.
I’m still not as comfortable leading a song, unless I have a strong “guitar” player with me who can carry the tune – as it’s hard to follow a dulcimer J. But I hope to get better at leading, and of course, if I bring good copies of chords/lyrics, I should be able to do it pretty well.
Thanks for hosting these! It gives everyone a chance to show up and play and get experience.
We noticed we didn't receive any "yes" RSVPs yet for our upcoming Saturday jams. We wonder why...
1) Is "jamming" fatigue setting in?
2) Do people consider our jams only "so-so"? If so, please e-mail us suggestions for improvements..
3) Too busy or too lazy to RSVP? Please consider RSVP'ing early anyway...
While we expect some folks to RSVP late or not at all (and still show up), we'd like to be sure that there are enough folks to have a decent jam. We could start advertising this jam using alternative channels, but then we'd run the risk of having very unpredictable turnout...
Anyway - please consider RSVP'ing early and e-mail suggestions for improvements...
Cheers, Karel & Denise
