Introduction

Hi, I moved to Jupiter in Aug 2010 and have yet to find people to jam with. I moved from SC, where I often did fireside jams & local casual performance. I'm a guitar player, mostly blues & jazz, but also enjoy folk, rock, country & bluegrass.

Are you able to strum, pick, listen or sing while smiling?

Yes. I play more pick-style but also do some finger-picking and a bit of slide (blues style).

Do you enjoy listening to live music as much as playing it?

Yes. I prefer playing, but when lots of players are present, I think its good for some to take a break so that it doesn't sound muddy and overwhelming, and I'm glad to give others the stage! I also play electric and often do that when playing with acoustic musicians, keeping it very soft and just adding some sparkle and lead fills, but would plan on bringing an acoustic guitar to this group. I mostly accompany others rather than lead songs, but do sing some and can lead a few songs, mostly blues. I'm glad to follow along with whatever music someone else would like to play, and can usually pick it up pretty fast as I'm blessed with a good ear. I've been playing on and off since I was a teenager and my mother was a professional musician (piano and organ).

Hi Victor! Please bring your smaller battery powered amp on Saturday. With a shortage of lead players in recent mtg attendance, I'm certain that we can easily make an exception for you to bring an electric as well. (please at least have it with you, OK?) No I'm not new I work in Palm Beach Gardens and wanted to go on Sunday for hiking in Jupiter ,But I cannot find the exact address where they meet in the morning and I couldn't send the organizer a note,I thought you might have more information,I did contacted another girlfriend But she didn't reply yet
