ActNow Foundation inaugurated its “New Play Reading” series “Sweat”
Our goal is to provide a forum for Black & Latino playwrights to have their works heard before a live audience. Designed to focus on the plays themselves each script will be read by a group of actors in “staged reading” format, with an open invitation to all who want to simply attend to hear the play read aloud, or participate in a discussion of the work afterwards with the author and cast.
