One couple’s love story is a metaphor for the history of white and black race relations in the United States

The Lesson Plan By Eddy Duran
1712. West Indian British slave owner William Lynch allegedly travels to the United States to instruct American slave owners on how to ‘make and control' slaves; he left a letter with specific instructions. Flash forward to 2009 where we meet Nix Dunn, a Brooklyn NY public school teacher/scholar on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Obsessed with the letter, he formulates a ‘Lesson Plan' during Black History Month in a desperate attempt to substantiate his belief that the ‘slave mentality' continues to inflict psychological damage in African Americans.

No More Niggaz By William Lee
An honest confession of the over Romanize use of the word Niggaz

    •  As an aspiring filmmaker, being in an environment where you see people actually accomplished their goals gave me the extra boost to go out and get the funding that I need I need for my movie
    •  It was really good seeing films that one would not get a chance to see otherwise, especially given the material that was covered
