Doorways to Dreams (D2D) (http://www.d2dfund.org/) Fund strengthens the financial opportunity and security of low and moderate income consumers by innovating, incubating and stimulating new financial products and policies. D2D works with the financial services industry, government agencies, national non-profit groups, grassroots community agencies, and public policy organizations to generate promising ideas, pilot test financial products and services, build awareness of the needs and potential of low-income communities, and advocate inclusive social and economic policies.

TALK DESCRIPTION

The D2D team will discuss how to creatively build solutions, detailing a few areas of innovation they are working on, involving Financial Technology, Prize-Linked Savings, Gamification, and Financial Capability Video Games.

We will be joined by Nick Maynard, Senior Director of Innovation; Kristen Tyrrell, Innovation Manager; Melissa Goldberg, Innovation Strategist; and Kristen Bryant, Senior Innovation Strategist.

They will discuss defining problems, identifying and designing solutions, then sharing our results and impact. This will be a great talk for people interested in solving problems by involving their end consumers. D2D will also inform about the need to build for oft forgotten segments of consumers.
