How to do it: Fogg's Behavior Model and Persuasive Design

This month, we'll dig into the most widely used and well known approach to designing products for behavior change: Fogg's Persuasive Design and Behavior Model.  We've had numerous questions at previous meetups, so now it's time to really get into the details and learn how this stuff works.

Danny Boice, CTO of Speek, will talk about Persuasive Design, using Speek as a concrete example.   I'll talk about the Fogg Behavior Model - using my training at BJ Fogg's "Bootcamp".

As always, free food and adult beverages will be provided.

The meetup is 6:30-8, 30 minutes of networking and food, then 1 hour for the presentation and discussion.

See you all soon!

This was my favorite Action Design meetup so far. I was really glad to see the research/theory side and the application/real-world example presented together.

Interesting blend of an applied local example and some theory to wash it down. Great people!

Excellent event - a useful primer on Fogg's Behavior Model, along with real world application. Format, organization, attendees and snacks, all wonderful, of course. Thanks for organizing!

I'm so mad I keep missing these, but the work cafeteria seems to have poisoned me. :( Hope someone else can enjoy my spot!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
