This month two awesome researchers - John Beshears from Stanford and Katherine Milkman from Penn - will talk about their work to improve health.
Katy will talk about "temptation bundling": how to effectively mix something people really like with something desirable but not as exciting. She'll talk about a project in which temptation bundling encouraged people to head to the gym.
John will discuss the tremendous impact that making simple plans can have on behavior. He'll present an outreach campaign that successfully led people to get flu shots, just by encouraging them to write down when they'd do it.
As always, we'll have free food and adult beverages.
The meetup will run from 6:30-8:15:
30 minutes for networking and food,
75 minutes for the presentations and discussion
See you all there!
