How can your products help people learn faster, remember more, and have fun along the way? Our next Meetup is about designing products that transform how people learn.
We have Chris Cummings, CEO of Spanish-language heavyweight SpanishDict.com. It's the largest Spanish reference and learning site on the web, reaching more than 60 million unique visitors last year. They are about to release a new product called Fluencia that incorporates behavioral techniques to improve the way that people learn Spanish.
Chris will talk about the core design principles that underlie Fluencia, like adaptive lessons, spaced repetition, mastery-based learning, game mechanics, and long-term engagement. Chris will also discuss how they have built a tight feedback loop to constantly improve the product. The event will conclude with an open discussion about key design principles that have the potential to improve how people learn.
