Introduction

Welcome to the group! My name is Debra and I am a single Mom with a 10 year old daughter. I love to stay active and I'm always looking for fun things to do! I look forward to hearing your suggestions and feedback on the meetups.

What types of physical activities do you enjoy?

In the summer I enjoy biking, tennis, golf, hiking, camping; and in the winter I enjoy indoor group fitness, skiing, etc. I am usually open to most any type of sport or exercise.

What is your favorite healthy food?

Zuchini

Can you commit to attending at least one of our meetup sessions once a month?

Definitely!

One rule we have in Active Healthy Families is our rule of your honoring your rsvp. Do you understand that if you have 3 or more "no shows", you will be deleted from our group?

If you have children, do they eat their vegetables?

I am always looking for ideas that are quick and easy to get my daughter to eat healthy! I know the importance of a healty diet.

Debra, Not to worry. Some moms have children with older siblings and some of the moms work out of the home too. We also have Moms Nights Out, get-together events and Family Nights Out where we can just relax, chat about life and how crazy life can get! = ) I live in Macomb Township too!
