South Shore Kids 5-10years Pages
We created this group because we found our kids are too old for most Playgroups, yet too young to go off with friends on their own. We wanted a group where we could arrange meetups geared around school schedules, extra activities, etc. We welcome all children as long as they are home schooled or in school, anywhere from VPK up to 5th grade. We also created this group for the MOMS, to share advice, meet other moms who are dealing with their kids in elementary school, and just make friends!
If you have multiple children and some are younger, no worries! Feel free to bring them to our meetups, as long as they are age appropriate. You may also want to check out our sister site, South Shore Preschoolers, which is for kids age birth to 4. We will sometimes have crossover events with both groups throughout the year too!
Most of our meetings take place in the South shore areas, afternoons after school or on weekends. We strive to be an active, close-knit group – both in person and on the message board or FB. As such, we require members to attend one meetup each month and post on our board once each week.
We invite you to join our group where we share all the joys, challenges and triumphs of being a Mom to a child in elementary school today. We’re here for our kids – to help them make new friends and work on socialization skills, and we’re here for each other!

Your organizer will refund you if:
- A member leaves within 30 days of joining and has a valid reason for leaving such as moving, military, change of shift work, or a family situation. Simply explain via email and I am willing to work with any member to provide a 50% refund.
