I just want people to have a place(myself included) to find people who want to get out and have fun in the Des Moines area.  There's so much to do, but it seems like you have to dig to find out what's happening and where.  We tend to focus around artistic events such as concerts, poetry slams, and art shows, but the group is open for all events.  I'd like to see more sporting events(roller Derby, Soccer, hockey, the area has it all) and more creative events that are out there.  I have lots of ideas, but would love for others to get suggest ideas as well.
