This meeting is a great look into our everyday operations and helps inform both members and propsective members on our outreach. Each board member is asked to speak on the agenda and obviously welcome questions and comments from everyone in the audience. The meeting normally runs an hour long, and all input and ideas are welcome. Stop by and see us.
The Active 20-30 Club of Fort Wayne is for all young professionals between the ages of 20 and 40 looking to make a difference in their community. With a mix of social and philanthropic events, our club realizes the need for our generation to be involved and active in the community in which we live, work and play.
Join us for as many of our events as you want! We welcome guests to check out our three main components:
1. General Membership meetings - We discuss the upcoming month's events, mix some socializing in, and sometimes do small service projects.
2. Philanthropic Events - They are the heart of our club! We work with established groups such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Club, Euell Wilson Center, the United Way, Camp-Wacha-Wanna-Do, and many more doing fun activities with kids that otherwise might not get to do them. From Zoo Day to pumpkin carving, a Christmas party to back to school shopping, our events strive to improve the lives of children. We are blessed to be able to have so much fun with the kids in our community!
3. Socials - Held every 3rd Thursday of the month, our socials are just a fun time to get together and hang out with members and prospectives. We explore different restaurants and bars around Fort Wayne and your first drink is always FREE!
