About Our Events

Weekly events are always on Wednesdays and Fridays. I try to add more where requested or if events arise on other days I will add them. I do add some festivals and parades if there is interest so others can join in! Currently most events start around 10 am.

Typical venues for events are:

Chuck E Cheese, Kart Ranch, The Children's Museum, Planetarium, Incredible Pizza, Various Parks in Lafayette & Iberia Parishes, Barnes & Noble, Chick fil A, The Hocketplex, The Zoo of Acadiana as well as the BR & NO Zoos, Bach Lunch for the Spring and Fall sessions. We have also taken tours of fire stations which we will do again along with other locations.


Other events:


In-Home Playdates

Once a month or more a member will host an In-Home Playdate. These are generally potlucks. If that month has a holiday, it usually becomes our party for that holiday. We also do themed playdates, some with crafts or certain activities.


Family Day & Family Night

Family Days/Nights are for everyone! It is a great opportunity for the dads to mingle and us moms to be out with friends and have a little help with the kids! lol This does not mean if dad cannot make it you cannot attend! There's generally lots of helping hands at these. Types of things we have and can do are dinners, bowling, movies, CEC, KR, Zoo Trips, BBQs, Festivals, Parades....anything!


MDO ~ Mom's Day Out

Having lunch with the girls is SUCH a treat mid-week! We have also gone to Clayfish Bisque to paint, gone shopping.....anything done easier without the kiddos!


MNO ~ Mom's Night Out

We generally designate a restaurant through polling and have dinner and maybe a drink. We have planned bowling, movies, spa nights and other local places! We are always open to suggestions or ideas

Once a month we plan a MNO. (This is a LADIES only kid-FREE event! exceptions are made for moms of very little ones!)


MNI ~ Mom's Night In

If someone wanted to host a game night, movie night, pajama party, potluck, etc this would be deemed a MNI!

Again, this is a LADIES only, kid-FREE event (unless specified by the hostess).


At any time, if you have an event you'd like to host, something you will be attending (like a festival or something) and would like added to the calendar so other can also attend, please let me know! If the dates and times of our events do not work for you, please let me know and we will add dates and times that are more convenient for you.
