First Friday Party for International Students - Columbia, MD 6:30 to 9:30 PM

I've been participating in these First Friday parties for about a year now, I'd like to invite you to join me and Christine (a member of our group) as we interact with and befriend international students currently enrolled in Howard Community College's English as a Second Language (ESL) Program.
This is an opportunity to meet young adults from several other cultures, interact with them, share a meal with and simply extend yourself in friendship to someone living far from their home, perhaps in a foreign country for the very first time.
Christine is an ESL instructor at Howard Community College. She holds these gatherings in her home on the first Friday of every month during the academic calendar year.
She invites students to her home for the opportunity to socialize outside of the classroom with Americans and to practice their English speaking skills. We eat, play board/card games, all with the intention of making the students feel welcome and introducing them to a little bit of American fun.
Please consider joining us if this interests you. It is a fun time and you have the opportunity to present America and Americans in a positive way to students around the world. Starts at 6:30 and we wrap up around 9:30.
We have a meal together at 6:30 - Christine will provide a main dish like pizza or lasagna, bring side items, snacks, salad, beverages and/or desserts.
