Description of the event -
On Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 1pm to 4pm, the Friends of the Light House and the Chesapeake Chefs Association will host the 7th Annual GumboFest at the Double Tree Hotel in Annapolis, MD.
Funds raised at the GumboFest will exclusively benefit the Light House Shelter in Annapolis.
Attendees will sample Gumbo prepared by local chefs from Annapolis and the surrounding areas and vote on their favorite.
In addition to the culinary treats, the local band TOO BIG TO FAIL a Rock'n'Roll and R&B band will be playing songs from the 60's to the present.

Tickets for the GumboFest will be sold at the door the day of the event for $15 each. GumboFest is organized by the Friends of the Light House Shelter, Inc., a 501 (C) (3).

They won't have tables. You just go from restaurant station to station and taste the wares. I'll talk with the Friends of Lighthouse organizer later this week again and get some information about the room it will be in. Then I'll try to go by an pick a spot, wear something identifiable.

GenaI had a ball I enjoyed dancing and tasting the gumbo table 5 was the best decorated in my opinion. I actually got quite a few beads handed to me for dancing.
