You're invited to join others from this meetup group at Grace's house in Elkridge for an evening of card games!
Specifically.....
Hearts
and
Spades
Bring a simple snack and a non-alcoholic beverage to share with the group.
If you do not know how to play these games, come prepared to learn!
This meetup is limited to 15 people. If you have not attended at least one "public" event with this group, I will change your RSVP to No. This is an effort to limit an event at a member's home only to people we have previously met. (There is no perfect solution, however I want to be security conscious.)
RSVPs will be taken seriously for this event. Do not sign up if you are a 'maybe', only if you can commit to attending. It isn't cool to RSVP now and change your RSVP on Friday morning. I will set an automatic waiting list so that if this event fills to capacity and someone does change their RSVP, you'll automatically be moved from the waiting list in the order you signed up.
One more thing.....
I'm looking for more people to be willing to open their homes for limited-size group gatherings for games, movie nights, puzzles, whatever. They can be semi-short notice (posted a few days beforehand) such as this event.
If you are interested in doing this, please email me. Many people feel overwhelmed by the size of larger group gatherings and are looking to interact in smaller group settings. Your home address will not be posted publically, it will only be sent to those who have responded with a Yes RSVP. I can also limit member hosted events at someone's home to individuals who have attended at least one other meetup (meaning the organizer and other group leaders have met someone).

Joegood people, good food and great card games. now if kristina and gail will forgive me for teasing them 1/2 the evening then that's even better. i met a few folks i did not know as well so overall a very pleasant evening.
