Actors and Writers is a collaborative effort to workshop and produce projects for stage and screen. In this forum storytellers have healthy and helpful professional support from their peers to enhance and give industry exposure to their work.

The group meets twice per month. The first and third Sundays offer alternate focus on the writing and acting skills. The first meetup of the month is dedicated purely to the craft of the written word with actors cold reading pages presented by two writers for constructive feedback within the two hour meetup. The second meetup of the month is dedicated to the actors who present prepared work by the writers of the group. This work is not only graciously critiqued during the meetup but taped so that actors and writers may have a copy available for their files.

The first meetup of the month is held at Kavanaugh's Irish Pub (see address on the calendar) and we ask that all attendees please come prepared to patronize the establishment (even if only to purchase coffee - Irish or otherwise) as they are great hosts and we do not ask a fee for the meetups held there. The second meetup of the month is held at a private location - address made available to members only.
