We are thinking of hosting an end of summer party and want to know do you have a demo reel, trailer or clip you would like to screen? (it should all be under 5 minutes)

Several members from the other groups or that I know professionally have scripts that they would like to be used for table reads (in whole or in part). Would you be interested in participating (mostly on Saturdays)? As a few people have asked what a table read is...I am going to define it: It's a group reading out loud, no memorizing but adding your acting to it is very valuable and makes the experience fun.Typically you get your character(s) assignment(s) and the script emailed/delivered to you a few days in advance. You read the script, hi-light your part(s) and then show up to the read. Present can be other actors, the writer, producer, director, etc. After the read you might be asked to fill out a survey, maybe discuss the story and characters then sometimes you are brought in for an audition. As members, I am glad you've asked. It's always best to know what you are getting yourself in to. It's a little time investment, but can be great for learning and networking.
