I like to hike.
10 more to go. I repeat a lot just to be climbing a mountain. I might never finish. Who knows?
In 2009, after a 20 year hiatus, I started winter hiking in the Adks again. (My snowy profile photo is from Colden, January 2010. It was a glorious hike.) My hiking goal is to just keep on walking. Walk on! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX3KOaJvly4&feature=related) I would really love to finish the 46 but mostly I just like to be moving and to be outdoors. I would like to explore the White Mountains.

I don't really like to hike with dogs.
Elie leads with style and humor, two GREAT trail qualities.

Dana: good hiking with you today. As you probably remember by now, a bird not usually found in a particular area is called an 'accidental.'
Thanks for the info on the book Dana. It will be a tremendous help.
Thanks Dana! Look forward to hiking together soon!
Hi, Dana, I'll schedule some HP hikes for Wednesdays, especially the ones you need. I'm back to hiking if I take care. i'm good for 7 or 8 miles, right now.... Elie
Dana, hope to work out a snowshoe into Sanatoni in the next couple weeks. You mentioned Sunday works best, so we will try for a Sunday. I'll keep ya posted.

Hi Dana, welcome to Hiking Mates! I posted pictures on ADKHP of the Sawteeth/Gothic
s and Armstrong hike. Hope to see you on more hikes. What peaks do you have left to do yet?
Dana, it's not ass BAD as you think. It's nearly level hiking and the last time I did Allen it took about 10 hours. Just stay off the red algae as it's slicker than wet glass
Great suggestion for the VT day hikes. I'm interested. Anyone working on their NE115 should enjoy Ellen, Abraham, Camel's Hump, Killington and Mansfield.
Hi, Dana - I am not averse to leading private hikes. Please send me your availability and I will take you up those two mts. No need to RSVP "Maybe".
