January SF-AEM Meeting

  • Jan 29, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This will be the second meeting of the SF-AEM meetup group. The goal is to give the community a forum to exchange ideas and interact in an informal atmosphere. The group is open to all AEM users regardless of level or background and we are hoping to touch on a variety of topics relevant to authors, developers and business.

Here is a tentative schedule:

6:45 - Pizza
7:00 - Welcome
7:15 - CRX Jenkins deployment plugin - Mark Adamcin - Acquity Group
7:45 - Site Stories - Authoring and implementation stories from the field
8:45 - Closing - Discuss next meeting topics & date.

Based on comments from the last meetup we will leave more time for networking. Presentations will be 15-20 minutes with a few minutes for questions. Again if you have a project or a topic you would like to share, let us know and we will get it going. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us.

Share a site with the group? - Everyone is interested in what organizations are doing with AEM. Up for talking about what you are working on and sharing some real world examples? We would love to hear about it. Don't be shy. :)

What do you want to talk about? - Have an idea?Let us know what topics you are interested in, we will see what we can pull together. Post here or just send us an email. Again, don't be shy.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Hi Everyone, I would like to invite you to the AEM Multilingual community that I am running. We have a linked group page if you would like to join:

Also I would like to share the latest AEM community related news. The Adobe Experience Manager Community will launch at Summit 2014 in Salt Lake City, March 24-28. It is about a great online community platform where you can manage your meet ups, share your contents, and etc. If you are interested, we’d like to invite you to become a founding member of the AEM Community to get an early invite to the annual AEM party and access to pre-Summit online events. Learn more here:

Mark - I went to your session yesterday (btw, it was a great session!) but didn't have a chance to meet you in person to say hello. I will be at the community lounge at the pavilion between 11:30 - 12:30 today if you have a time to stop by...

Thanks. I'm sorry I missed you at the Pavilion. I met many on the community team and am better connected now.

Hey Everyone! I really enjoyed the conversation tonight with all of you. It was exciting to see the excitement behind getting a community in SF organized.

The community tutorial Youtube Channel can be found below. If you are interested in creating a tutorial for this community page, let me know! I'm accepting authoring, development, admin, and marketing tutorials.

Secondly, I created two different pages for daily spaces for AEM in marketing and developing. My hope is these will become great places to see current articles, tutorials, common practices for AEM. If you have suggestions of twitter accounts, youtube channels, rss feeds, or facebook pages to add, Let me know! Marketing:

All of this is still in beta for me, so I'm completely open to suggestions.
