Hi Josh, sorry, I needed to trim my post down there a great deal as I didn't realise the limit was 1000 characters until after I typed it all. If Adobe are able to look at something for UK or Europe I think many would benefit. Regards

    Paul

Thanks for the reply Josh, much appreciated. I can totally understand where the regional set up by Adobe is coming from but in truth I think Adobe are missing a very big opportunity here and failing to support users of their fantastic product in the UK or even in Europe. The key issue here I think is that, certainly in my experience anyway, I struggle to find anyone in the UK who can offer any kind of "present day" CP 7 training. If you are lucky to find anyone, their terminology is so out of date and fails to even cover shared Actions or Advanced Actions, not to mention Drag and Drop. It really is a major issue

Regards, keep up the great work and as I say I look forward to the recordings and will try and be online during the sessions as often as I can. Many thanks

    Paul

    Paul, thanks for your feedback!
I appreciate you hanging with us last night. Adobe has set up these groups in geographic regions here in the US. The goal of our group is to build the Adobe eLearning community in North and South Carolina. They have also set up other groups in Virginia, Georgia, etc. I know the time is horrible for you, but it seems to work out well for us in the Carolinas. We would be more than happy to continue to record these sessions and make them available for viewing at a later time.

It's very difficult to support a global audience when our focus is North and South Carolina. I guess there's no easy solution.

The session was good and offered a good introduction level of support - Thank you to all involved.

However, if I am honest the time here in the UK to meet with your time was a killer for me. I logged in at 12:45 and logged out at 02:15 and then had to be up for work at 05:45 so feeling rather tired and grumpy right now :-)

I appreciate the time difference but if it is perhaps possible to stagger the times or have a more mutually convenient time for all going forward then I think that will be a great help so that nobody in the group is working in the early hours?

For those of you that couldn't make the Adobe eLearning User Group - Carolinas Meetup, the recorded link is under Discussions > Message Board. Also there, is the flyer to get a discount for membership to Lynda.com

I have just added this to my calendar and it is 01:00 on the 25th local time in Glasgow, Scotland. I am looking forward to and will have a wee dram of a nice Single Malt to hand :-)
