This is a diverse support group for adoptive parents, adoptees, and anyone in any stage of the adoption process, who wish to learn from each other and support each other in an open, loving atmosphere. All forms of adoption are welcome; domestic, international, transracial, same-sex adoptive parents, foster parent adoptions, and single adoptive parents.
The focus of Adoption Circle Support Group is to; support and help each other through the trials that can develop with the adoption process, provide support for the unique issues that go along with raising an adopted child, to learn about the unique issues that adoptees/adopted children deal with, to provide a safe atmosphere where adoptees can find peers who can relate to their unique circumstances and develop meaningful friendships, and to learn from what others have already experienced so that we can strengthen our families.
We have playdates, meetups for adults, book discussions and reviews, and online discussions.
