We are a group of Adoptees who get together to share, support and encourage each other through our lifelong adoption journey. Whether it be exploring how adoption has and continues to shape our lives; sharing information and strategies for search, or supporting each other through the emotional process of reunion. This is a new group just founded this October. We meet on the 3rd Monday of the Month, about a hour and a half before the Adoption Knowledge Affiliates (AKA) monthly meeting.

NOTE: Spouses, those who are support systems for adoptees, or anyone who wants to learn more about the adoptee perspective are also certainly welcome.

You do not need to be a member of AKA to attend this MeetUp or to attend the AKA Monthly Meeting that directly follows. As described on the AKA Website (http://www.adoptionknowledge.org/):
