Membership Profile Information

  • Everyone's profile must include a clear picture of themselves, no scenic pictures will be allowed. This is requested for the protection and security of our members.


    RSVP Rules and Etiquette

  • You only need to RSVP is you are going to attend an event. "NO" RSVPS are not necessary as we can figure out that unless you respond with a "Yes" you won't be there. It is very important to have an accurate number of how many people to expect. BE COURTEOUS – SHOW UP IF YOU RSVP. If you RSVP "Yes," we'll be looking for you!

  • Please keep your RSVP up to date. Your RSVP is your commitment! I know that sometimes last minute stuff happens and no one is going to shoot you, but keep in mind some of our events will rely on waiting lists. You keep others from going if you don't update your RSVP from a "Yes" to a "No" enough in advance for others to see. That's not cool.

    No-Show Policy and Membership Activity

  • No-Shows are not a good thing, but it happens sometimes. If you no-show once, shame on you! Please try to make it a one-time thing. A second no-show will result in an email reminding you of our policy. In the event of a third no-show you may be removed from the group. The phone number for the organizer or asst. organizer hosting the event will be posted on each event invitation for you to call. You should program this into your phone for when last minute things come up and you can't get to a computer to change your RSVP or if you are having trouble finding us at an event.

  • This group is meant to be an ACTIVE group, which means we request you attend a meetup at least once every four months. Active participation is needed to develop and maintain relationships, and this can only be done with consistent attendance. The group list will be reviewed periodically, and if you have not participated regularly, you may be removed from the group.

    Membership donation
  • A voluntary donation of $1.00 per monthly event is requested, which is used to offset monthly meetup fees. Organizers pay a fee to host meetup groups, in addition to administrative fees to maintain a meetup group. If you attend more than one meetup a month, you only have to pay fee once.

    Changes to our events can happen last minute, e.g. cancellations or postponements due to inclement weather or changes of meeting spot or meeting time and/or emergencies on the leaders part. If you are planning to attend an event, always check your email and the event description on meetup.com the evening before an event or even better, before you head out to an event.
