Stowe mountain resort is on every east coast skier/snowboarders list of top places they love to go, and for good reason!
Stowe is a premier resort with 116 beautiful trails ranging from beginner to expert ability levels, 13 ski lifts including the high speed gondola, 485 skiable acres (including a ton of backcountry trails and unmarked glades if you're up for the challenge, I'll take you there), and an average annual snowfall of 333 inches! Skiing/snowboarding conditions at Stowe are as good as they get in the Northeast!
This trip is welcome to skier/boarders of all abilities/levels, from 1st timers to expert skiers, Stowe has something for everyone. If you have not had the opportunity to experience this phenomenal resort yet, here is your ticket!

Stowe is about a 5.5-6 hour drive away from New York City.
Ideally, you should leave the city no later than 5 PM on Friday. This will ensure that you get to Stowe by 10-11 PM, have enough time to unpack and prepare for the morning, maybe even test the hot tub, have a "night cap" and get a good night of sleep.
To compensate car owners who are putting serious mileage on their cars we recommend passengers to pay all gas and tolls related expenses.
At the same time, we urge drivers not to overcharge their passengers.
We will do our best to organize rides in a way that will ensure equal passenger distribution per car, minimum commuting for passengers and local pickups for drivers.
If you arrive at the hotel before 11PM on Friday, the front desk attendant will check you in and hand you an envelope with room keys and ski passes for you and your roommate(s).
If you arrive at the hotel after 11PM on Friday, an envelope with your and your roommate's keys will wait for you at the front desk - your last names and the room number will be written on the envelope. Your ski passes will not be in the envelope. Please go back to the front desk when you get up in the morning to officially check in, and pick up your ski passes.
*Note - Ski pass is a wireless ID tag card serving as your lift ticket. Please put the card in a safe place (i.e. inside of your wallet or ski jacket pocket), and keep it on you at all times when you're at the ski resort. The card does not have to be visibly displayed; as long as you have it in one of your pockets, wireless readers located in front of every ski lift will read the tag and let you through the gate.
Please RSVP yes only if you are certain about going and ready to submit your payment by stated deadlines.
There is a limited number of spots available for this trip.
RSVPing yes, not paying, and then changing your RSVP status in the last minute prevents others from signing up and will certainly earn you a bad rep with this group.
Please answer all RSVP questions. These questions are necessary for the hotel room reservations, and will also help us plan and organize room and ride shares.
If you make rooming and/or driving arrangements with other members directly, please communicate through emails and limit message board posts to questions and information that is of concern for the entire group.
If you do not make any arrangements on your own, we will suggest roommate/driver/passengers based on your preferences and departing location.
