Vancouver Island is like Disney Land for cavers and not many are aware of it!  This time of year is your chance to experience the "Wild" adventure of caving as it is the incredible forces of water flowing through the caves that created the marble passages and crystal caverns.

When: Tuesday February 14

Time: 9am (We will pick-up everyone {if you live outside the pick-up region we will agree on a meetup spot} and head out of town by 9am. We expect to be back by 6:30pm.

Brunch: We will stop in Nanaimo on our way up and you can choose from one of 6 menu options: (ACMe Restaurant - Nanaimo)

1. Farmers Breakfast: 4oz Steak or 3pc Bacon and 3pc Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, w/ Toast and hashbrowns or Belgian Waffles
2. Grilled Vegetable and Goat Cheese Frittata Wrap: w/ toast and hashbrowns or Belgian Waffles
3. Westcoast Scrambler: Baby shrimp, Crab, Roasted Peppers, Basil and mixed cheese and scrambled eggs, w/ toast and hashbrowns or Belgian Waffles
4. Sesame Ginger Chicken Bowl: Peppers Onions Carrot Zucchini and Carrot, Over Basmati rice
5. Beef Di: Served with choice of side
6. Fish and Chips: 2pc Cod or 1pc Salmon

Caving: After brunch we will go to Horne Lake Caves and take on a 3hr Wet & Wild Tour!

See an underground river, climb a waterfall, marvel at the amazing crystals and squeeze through the ceiling galleries on this fabulous adventure, a small taste of "wild" caving!

Cost: Guided Caving Tour, Brunch and Transportation = $124.99+tax per person. ($139.99)

Adventure Level: No experience necessary but we will negotiate some tight passages, short climbs and lots of cave scrambling.

What to Bring: All equipment included but we are pretty much guaranteed to get a bit wet, so please bring a full change of clothes with you.  Don't forget your camera!
