This is the only Japanese Zen garden in the East Midlands (as far as I know) and it is really pretty and peaceful. It is an ideal place to relax, reflect and enjoy nature. We will be simply walking and enjoying the traditional garden elements - water, carp, bridges, mini waterfall, moss, bamboo, evergreens, maples, cherry, stone lanterns, crystal garden, the pagodas, the Zen rock garden and more, and finish up with tea at the Japanese Tea House.
It is not really an adventure, or a sport, but something a bit different to normal things... more of a lovely place to simply chill out and enjoy nature. Maitreya, the lovely Japanese guy who runs it, is lovely. It is suitable for anyone of any age group, but please be aware that it is not a children's playground activity but a place for children (and adults of course) to try to experience some peace, tranquility and nature!! :)
