Sherwood Pines Forest Adventure and Fun!

A great suggestion by Lisa, thanks :) .. there's loads of stuff to do at Sherwood Pines Forest .... GoApe, awesome bike trails, an adventure play area, forest walking trails to suit all ages and abilities, bushcraft!!!!

Take a look at the website:

We are thinking about bringing our bikes and trying the hard or even the extreme track :) but there are easy and family tracks too. Or there are the lovely walking trails to suit all ages and abilities... we can all meet up along the way for a flask of tea and picnic.

Forest Park is located in the Heart of Sherwood Forest on the B6030 east of Kings Clipstone. The address is:

Sherwood Pines forest Park
NG21 9JL

There is a car park, which costs £4 for the day.

Will post more details soon, including prices for bushcraft, in the meantime, this is definitely a date for the diary!

I have not got my bike at the moment but I will bring the children's. If you are going on the hard trails and Go Ape we will probably just do our own thing quite a bit. The girls need lots of practice on their bikes so it will be good. Meeting for a picnic would be good. I should be there for 10am but I have an action packed day planned for them today do we'll see. Natasha I will send you a message with my number on about meeting for the picnic. There is a large grassy area near the cafe, entrance and play area where the kids can play. I will bring my twos ball and frisbee for my two anyway.

    See you all tomorrow. Lisa

Looking forward to this and the weather is going to be good! We plan to meet in the car park, postcode given at around 10ish. Have a look at the website as there are loads of different options depending on age and what you fancy doing. I think that we are going to try our hand at GoApe (for aged 10yrs and above) and one of the challenging trails - we do like a challenge :) Bring your own packed lunch etc, and lessons learnt, possibly a change of clothes for the kids :) See you then, looking forward! Tash & Josh
