I have been doing photography for non-profits primarily focusing on indigenous cultures around the world since 2007.
The most interesting place I've been is Papua, New Guinea. It is one of the few places left in the world where you can visit tribes-people whose lives are basically untouched by the Western World. One must travel by canoe or small boat to get to the villages (of which there are many). Once there, you are greeted by dozens of smiling unclothed children who are excited that you came to visit. Watching them view their images on the back of my camera is one my fondest memories. www.photographybybeverly.com

Welcome to the Take One Meet & Greet Group I hope that you will be able to make one of the monday evening get togethers taht we have. The first one I had before meetup worked out really well and a wide range of people showed up. If there is anything that you might want the group to do in or out of studio let me know. Again, welcome to the group.
Welcome to World Traveling Photographers With A Conscience, Beverly! I would like to encourage you to submit some of your images for our upcoming show at Photolab in Berkeley. The photography on your website is wonderful! I will email you some additional information regarding the exhibition.
