What adventure sports do you already enjoy?

I enjoy beach volleyball, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, tennis, badminton, flying & aerobatic flying. I play beach volleyball around 45 weeks a year twice a week for the great fun conditioning and meeting fun friendly people. Just added a inflatable paddleboard for more fun to share. The Pilatus P3 airplane in my p rofile - I may never be able to afford one but ability to do loops, rolls and tumble in free fall a few times before regaining control represents incredible fun.

What adventure activities would you like to enjoy?

I'm game to try things but to do a sport or activity well requires regular practice to build skill level. Doing it 1-2 times a year is not really playing an activity with any skill to be more fun. Ask me to join you doing anything. I read of the journey of a couple paddling from Montana to New Orleans on the Mississippi in a 2 person kayak. Being invited to join people for lunch or dinner along the route sounds like much fun to meet people. One family invited them to stay at their home 1-2 days. But it took 90 days to travel roughly 3,000 miles. I think a more fun trip will be to buy or build a 27-30 foot catamaran to sleep, cook and have a head (toilet) in a hull. I'm guessing a catamaran that size may travel 3,000 miles in 30 days. Will 10-30 others join in voyage if we have a blog?

What is the #1 place that you would like to visit?

Goal is buy Irwin 38 sailboat with two cabins, cabins has a head (toilet) & shower. Irwin 38 is affordable @ $45K. The Irwin will be comfortable to sail from LA-Panama, Texas, Florida, Bahamas, Cuba, Intercoastal Waterway to North Carolina, Bermuda, Ireland & Europe. Plan for EU nations is explore 3,300 miles of rivers/canals in UK, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France & Switzerland for 3-5 yrs as long as its fun. Next to explore Caribbean, Central America, some of South America including Chile Argentina for 2-3 yrs. Then Pacific for 3-5 yrs if still fun to explore. We may spend 1-10 days in small ports or 3-6 months in larger areas to explore. Plan to use car/van where possible. I love meeting people from all nations & hope many from US, Europe & Asia join in sharing talk, food and drinks, laughs many times in many places.

Hello, I love doing things with other people. I'd love to meet someone to do what you want for fun then I pick activity. If not trying and learning things many of us get in a habit. I love fun & laughing at my mistakes. I care about other people.

What Charles is saying about this Meetup Group

I had a lot of fun. Winds were not as strong the past two meetups so I only needed one more layers of clothes. I laughed some since it was harder for me adjusting to less wind to serve in. We were joined by two women from Holland here for a few weeks.
