This group is a spinoff of our adventure club. For local and global adventures every week, join http://www.meetup.com/PhiladelphiaAdventure/ This group sets aside space for our growing volunteer board and kicks it up a notch as we create our own nonprofit corporation.

Our volunteers have been fighting to make our world and our community better for two years now with fantastic results. You constantly blow away expectations; whether it is helping to feed the hungry, thank our veterans, protect animals at risk or celebrate and restore our environment.

Now, we begin our biggest challenge yet! This year we launch our quest to create a wilderness park of our own, a place that protects the wilderness and provides a sanctuary for hiking, mountain climbing, camping and all the adventures that we love.

This downturn is an opportunity for conservation. The development pressure has eased and land prices have subsided. It will not last long. So, we must act now. Please, send in donations and get involved in our efforts to create a system of wilderness parks preserved adventurers for adventurers.
