Delaware Water Gap Rt 80 entrance

This location is shown only to members

Starting at the main parking at Worthington. The hike will be about 7 miles up and back to Sunfish Pond by way of the A.T. If time permits, and those of you that make it out are willing, we can extend the trip to about 11 miles and come back by way of Mt. Tammany. We'll just see how it goes. Thunderstorms or heavy snow cancels. Required for the hike: good attitude, good hiking boots possibly poles, a pack with at least 2 liters of water and snacks, rain gear, and before then I will be updatind and posting my "hiking top 10" so please read through it.

It's up to each individual to know their own limits and ultimately be responsible for themselves to determine if a break from the group is necessary. It is not possible to quantify the difficultly level. So everyone should be able to find their own way. Check out \More\files above for maps and documents.

A word about guests. I should prefer all events be attended by members only for obvious reasons unless of course the guest has four legs. And in that case, must be on a leash.
