This event open to all Kayak types as well as canoes. It is an easy paddle on calm water open. We are meeting down behind Stellos Stadium, limited parking in the circle but you can drop your kayak off and park your car up in the stadium parking area.
** Swimming is not recommended (so no water guns on this event) - it is just a nice rive to kayak on **
We will put in at the Stellos stadium boat launch in Nashua, paddle upstream for an hour or so and head back. Plenty of wild life in the area & we might even see the Bald Eagle, some Osprey or the Swam's.
Please arrive early or promptly, so we can all be on the water by 6:15pm - thanks :)
We may all go out for something to eat afterwards, if the group is up for it over at Shorty's at exit 6 off Rte 3, Everett Turnpike.
Gear requirements: "Bring your own" kayak (sorry no rentals on site) lifevest & wear it. Please bring water as well as snack if you want. You may want to bring some sunscreen, camera & be sure to have a waterproof container for your phone, keys, camera etc. Bring bug spray you may need it.
Your safety and the safety of the group is the most important thing, so come prepared so you don’t put yourself or others at risk. Bring your own gear and know how to use it.
