Peavy Arboretum, Calloway/Intensive Trail (3.5 miles)

This is a lovely hike through old and new-growth forests with lots of moss-covered trees and some good elevation changes. The trail is well-maintained and appropriate for winter hikes.
Don't let the word, "Intensive" in the trail title scare you. It refers to the forestry management practices used for a portion of the trail, NOT the intensity of the hike!! I consider it to be an easy hike.

For those who want to carpool from Albany, meet at 12:30 pm in the Ray's Food Place parking lot, near the Corvallis Clinic building. Corvallis folks who want to carpool can coordinate in the comments section.

I'll be coming from Albany and will stop at Ray's to pick up anyone who wants to ride along. Or I'm happy to be a passenger, as well.

I need to run an errand on the way to Peavy, so I won't be stopping at Ray's for carpooling, after all. I'll meet you all at the trailhead.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
