Introduction

Friends, fun and laughter sound like a great combination that I would love to be a part of!

What do you like to do for fun?

Meet new people, Walk, Hike, Dance, Music/Concerts, Live Theater and Movies, Picnics/BBQ, Conversation, Cook, Read, Travel, Photography, Play Tourist and Tour Guide ... mainly expand my horizons, spending time with friends, learning new things and live life as the party it is...

What adventureous and/or event ideas can you suggest for this group?

Cadillac mountain sunrise trip, a golf-day of mini and 'real' 9-holes, local events to attend in our various towns, theme based events (ie: everyone wear their favorite hat ? or rock-band t-shirt ? or bring a dish made with something yellow ?), talent show, art show of work made by group members, members give humorous readings during a wine or beer tasting event, target practice with ammo and/or bows, hot-air ballooning, boxing demonstration and putting on the gloves, self-defense class for women AND men, members with unique expertise/talents give a demonstration/direction or instruction (ie: pottery, snowshoeing), track and field day of all levels so those that have never thrown a shot-put can see/feel what it's like, progressive dinner/home tour, follow the 'trail' of a local early explorer, ice skating...

Do you think the world is round or flat?

I do enjoy the beauty of the curve of the horizon, yet it does appear that the ground is, mostly, flat wherever I am standing and I don't like much the idea of standing on the 'side' of a ball (I don't know how 'Le Petite Prince' could stand it!)

hi Galen, here is about Thursday hike. Every Thursday at 9AM, if not alone and weather permitting, come ascend Pack Monadnock via the Wapack Trail, and descend via the Marion Davis for a 3 mile RT of approx' 3 hours.
A bit of scrambling in the beginning, a couple brief steep paths, but a good climb for beginner to moderate hiker.
Please contact John Bigl if you're able to attend: [masked]
