lehiegh river (poconos) dam release day May 15th. There is a whitewater rafting and paddling group organizing a trip for this if any of you are interested. probably the one day when the river actually has white water.....good opportunity!

Hi Brooke, you could use a hybrid, not the best choice, but still doable. A permit IS needed to ride on these trails, but it's very rare that you'll get caught. A helmut is a must.

Has the date been set? If not how about the Adirondacks as in the Moose River or Hudson? There is more water, dam releases and more excitement......
