We start at a high elevation and descend into a gorge 1,000 feet below by rappelling alongside several waterfalls.  After a swim in one of the natural pools, we hike out on steep terrain.

Hi Russell,

What is canyoneering?  Everything sounds like so much fun .... My son is a lunatic on thrill rides.  He just went on the cliff diver at splish splash, which is an 8 story drop ... true the impact is over quickly .... I'm guessing he might be okay .....
