Summertime is here! (or at least it will be on the 21st). That means it is time for our annual road trip/camp out to Moon. Don't worry about dodging asteroids or meteors, Moon is a very quiet little spot on the Chesapeake Bay, in Mathews County. Feel free to come down Saturday morning, or Friday afternoon and camp out. I have plenty of fishing gear and the Croakers and Rays are plentiful.
We have a nice sandy beach for swimming or sunbathing, swings, hammocks and lounge chairs for relaxing. I will supply brats and fixin's. You can bring a side dish, drinks, snacks, desserts, Etc., or stop by one of our two grocery stores after you arrive and compare notes on what we will need.
Feel free to bring your significant other if you want to have a relaxed discussion on ADD and its effects on relationships.
I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday than with my extended family of wonderful ADDers. Please try your best to attend. Even though it rained most of the time last year we still had fun. Let's hope we will have better weather this year. If you like Saturday morning yard sales, we have a plethora of them in Mathews. We also have a nice little Farmers' market on the historic courthouse square. If you are one of the few who still reads actual books, the Mathews Library (which was recently named the "Best Small Town Library in America") Opens each Saturday morning with a book sale. All recent hardback publications, audio books, CD's and DVD's are just $1.00. Older books are $1.00 for all you can cram in a shopping bag. Lots of fun and great deals.
ALSO.....PLEASE RSVP as soon as possible so we will know how to better plan our menu and activities. Feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions. My direct email is [masked] and my cellphone # is[masked]-4065. Depending on where you live in the Richmond area, you should be able to reach Moon in a little over an hour, up to a maximum of two hours (if you live in deep Chesterfield, or further)
