Integrating Technology: Continuing the Conversation

Ryan Gilbreath did such a great job of introducing us to technology options for staying organized in September that he's been asked back by popular demand. He will be following up on some questions and demonstration of features discussed in the September meeting and will demonstrate some email organizing tips. Ryan is one of those technology explorers, always looking for an application to make life easier. Come and gather some ideas to organize your time, tasks, email and more! Technology CAN be your friend!

I was very late, as I have another meeting, earlier, and it was a really important session, with lots of very personal situations.

Many Thanks to Ryan, Allison and everyone for an informative and enjoyable meeting. I learned a lot from everyone's comments and thought it was a great presentation, Max will enjoy the recording, I think Ryan, Allison, Randy, Maxwell and I could get together, get it polished up as a PowerPoint presentation and provide it on the Internet, I think it would be a great resource for others like ourselves, we have all this great technology, I see that information helping many, many people. You rock Ryan, and I'm glad you have Allison behind you>>> old saying ("Behind every great man there is a greater woman") LOL

Great! Ryan did another great presentation. I also enjoy hearing others share strategies that work for them. I particularly appreciated Ryan's wife's sharing about how she and Ryan have figured out what works to address Ryan's ADD challenge areas. It was so wonderful to see a wife who understands the nature of the beast and is committed to figuring out ways to support Ryan on his ADD journey. Support is such an important part of the solution to managing ADD symptoms.

I am soooooo grateful you will record. I'm bummed b/c I have come done with a fever and cough that I don't wish to share. I will really miss being there! Thinking about you!

Hi All: Max has provided me with a recorder and I have picked up name tags as I mentioned in a different discussion, I will ask the groups permission to record the meeting tonight when I see everyone.

CAN ANYONE RECORD THIS DISCUSSION? I have the last in a series of classes this night and I'd really love to be in both places. Perhaps I can get a recorder to someone Tuesday during the day or at least before 6pm when my class happens?
    Sincerely, Max[masked]

THANKS!!! This is a great example of using a technology to help us with our ADHD, actually! We now can go back and check if we heard that correctly when my ADHD brain lost a keyword in a sentence because a light flickered, a thought ran across my forebrain or a squirrel appeared.

Chris, not everyone has a device on which apps can be replaced. The person who will be able and willing to help you may not have such a device.

I will be at First Baptist before 7:00 PM, for another meeting, downstairs. If you can stop by before your class, enter as Debbie directs, on the downtown side, turn left when facing the reception booth, and I'll be in the first room on the left. I'll be wearing glasses and a t-shirt with a cat on the front. If you can instruct me on how to use a device, and leave one with me, and tell me how to get it back to you, okay. I'll do that.

Here's a final reminder of how to find the room. Once you enter the building, go left at the reception desk. Make a right onto the first hall that intersects with the main hall. Take the elevator on the left to the second floor. Go left off the elevator. Look for Suite 240 (or 241) on the right. There will be glass doors at the entrance of the suite. Suite D is at the very end of the hall.

By the way, the entrance to which Debbie refers is on the downtown (east) side of the church, where there's a small parking lot (which will already be full).

Hi Chris: If you have a recorder I would be more than happy to meet up with you to get it to and from you, I will of course have to ask the group of they don't mind if it is recorded

It is a PTA night, so I may be a little late. I am anxious to learn more as technology is not my strong suit!

Alice and I may be a bit late, as we'll still be in another group, meeting downstairs, at the same church. I'll try to remember to go upstairs and turn the AC on, if need be.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
