Getting Organized!

Cathy LeHew of Abundance Organizing will be our speaker in November. She is an expert in working with people with chronic disorganization problems like ADHD and hoarding. I've known Cathy for more than a decade, have actually worked side by side with her on a community project, and know you will receive so much benefit from her knowledge and expertise.

I'll share more specifics when I receive them.

Has this group been modified to NOT send email invitations to the meetings? I have not received an email invitation since August. I don't know of a meeting until someone posts a comment. As such, I haven't been able to adjust my work schedule to accommodate meetings.

Sorry I missed yet another program. Work keeps getting in the way. :-(

WOW! Found out how, yet again, something presents differently in a woman than a man. When Cathy listed how that was with ADHD, It was like a ding-dong moment! The talk was invaluable! Thank you so much!

Several of my questions were answered in the presentation. I have some really good ideas to get going......again. :) Thanks for the motivation!

Great meeting! Lots of good information from Cathy LeHew who also has ADHD. Isn't it interesting that she has ADHD which makes organizing difficult yet she makes her living helping others get organized!

I missed most of it, attending a meeting with an earlier start. What I saw was good.

Hi everyone, just wanted to give you an early heads-up about the ADHD Symposium at Chesapeake Bay Academy in Va. Beach on Saturday, January 24th (tentatively 9am-1pm). Chesapeake Bay Academy, CHADD Hampton Roads Chapter, Old Dominion Univ., & Tidewater Community College are partnering to put on this FREE event. Educators, clinicians, parents & adults are welcome to attend. Our keynote speaker is ARI TUCKMAN. We'll forward registration info & any further details when available. Thanks, and an EARLY (had to look up 'early', it's not in my ADHD dictionary) Happy Thanksgiving to all!

FYI -- I've listed the room number. It's 241B. It's on the second floor. Go left off the elevator. It's at the end of a hall for Suite 241.

I will try to make it. Coming from Portsmouth, so it all depends on how the day/weather goes. The new location is a lot closer for me, which helps.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
