$1.00 EACH 3 MONTHS - honesty system
Why: A small % of the $20.00 MONTHLY charge from MeetUp & some signs, rooms, etc.
WANTED: Fun, fabulous and friendly couples to form lasting friendships with. Must be outgoing, ready for fun and willing to attend (and suggest) Meetups!
This Meetup is for couples (and the occasional very hip single) looking for other other people willing to explore Chicago as if they just moved here or as a constant "tourist".
The group is mostly for married, engaged or dating couples in their mid 20's to late 40's; although we're interested in setting up opportunities for everyone. We will be setting up opportunities to dine out, dance, bowl, check out neighborhood festivals, the occasional weird tour of a brewery or two, candy factories tours, or car museums. We enjoy going to the Museum of Modern Art, sailing (sunset cruises are our favorite time to head out - so if you have a boat too, let us know!) wine tastings, meditation, checking out new sports or learning a new dances (Salsa being my current favorite), game nights, outdoor activities, hiking and much more - so consider yourself warned!
Our events are kept small to insure that we all get to know each other (or at least meet one another)!
Membership Suggestions:
* Suggested age 25+. Married, in a relationship...or recently single but terribly hip
* Activities range from dive bars/denim to gala events/ fine dining
* Singles with dates welcomed (sometimes welcome all by themselves too)
* New to Chicago or the perpetual tourist is the MOST welcome!
We enjoy running this group in a casual way than "over-hosting" them. Having everyone wear name-tags is not our style. We prefer the "meet and have a good time" approach.
Peace,
Chris & Livi

What members are saying
“ Love this group because without them I would have NO IDEA what to do in the city that's FREE, worth actually doing, and wouldn't have met such wonderful people.... ”
