I had a great day and met some very nice people

Charissa did a lot of work ahead of time. She told us to get there early to get tickets, but no one knew just how early that meant! The ticket process was still pretty bad, but that wasn't Charissa's fault. She did a lot of organizational work in the last few days. Thanks for being a good leader and for letting us know about this event.

Thank you Martha! :-) I feel terrible this happened to our 1:30pm group!!!

We were all shocked at how few tickets were available and how unorganized, and unsympathetic the person in charge of this event was. Charissa tried all she could but, when one person buus tickets for 2/3 of the available tickets, no pre-purchasing available etc...it was a no win situation :-( Not to rub it in to those who were unable to get tickets and, our docent was extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable.

Just got back from the tour, and found it very interesting. The bad news: a man came at 12:05 and bought out ALL the tickets for the entire afternoon! :-((( The Adobe is pretty small, and they can't have large groups in. We all complained to the woman in charge.

I am glad everyone let her know that this was a huge inconvenience. I will be submitting my own complaint to her on behalf of our group because I find it extremely unfair to not offer advance tickets so groups can plan accordingly.

    Hi
Was there at 175 W St John at 1:30pm and did not see the group.

Hi Ted. I am so sorry we missed you! There was a terrible situation in which the woman who ran the site sold out all of the tickets to the 1:30 & 2:30 tours. I immediately posted something on our board and also sent out an email to the attendees with this notification; however, I realize this was extremely short notice!

Hi Jeannie. The RSVPs have been closed only to those who have not yet replied, so you are still included. I am working with the History of San Jose organization to have a custom tour for us since our group is so large. Further details will be sent out this Tuesday.
