Come play with us.  “Adventures in Improv” seeks fun minded people to become part of a team improv playgroup.  Learn fun and amusing improv games played on improv stages around the world.  Become part of a troupe of improvisers who meet regularly to develop and hone our improv/acting skills.  Workshops are great fun.  We use the games we play in workshop for our performances and invent new ones to keep our shows fresh.  Workshops are designed for all levels of play. In addition to the improv games other acting exercises are also offered in workshops to help develop the performance/acting skills that help make improvising easy and entertaining.   With interest and participation all members of the troupe will gain the necessary skills to become performing members of the improv company.  The goal of this meetup group “Adventures in Improv” is to have all troupe members become part of an ongoing performing improv production. “Adventures in Improv” uses the methods created by Keith Johnstone and International Theatresports and is licensed member of that community of actors/improvisers.  By joining “Adventures in Improv”, you also have the opportunity to become part of that global community of performing artists.  So, join us, we meet for the fun of it.  Workshops are ongoing and best of all free.

Workshops are held in my house (4565 King St., Denver, CO). I have created a workshop space here that is welcoming and most importantly free.  My home residence is also the residence of record for Denver TheatreSports (a licensed member of International Theatresports).  For further information call 3O[masked]

This was an honestly fun scene. In a paraphrase of Bob Hope's theme song, "Thanks for the memory".

Tonight we played with the alphabet, Dan created a game called Click, and we learned how to stop and go. Nicole looks at her high school yearbook once a week and tonight it came to life. As usual, workshop was great fun. Let's do it again next week.

Last week's workshop was great fun. I look forward to this week's possibilities. I am always amazed and surprised by what the players in this meetup create. You guys are great. R.S.V.P when you know you can attend. It lets the new members know we really do have the players to generate the entertainment you all deliver. We are close to playing team improv Theatrsports. Oh what fun.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
