Highlights of the trip

Five days of photography in Yellowstone National Park
Five days of photography in the Grand Tetons National Park

Our trip has been planned to coincide with the time that the Aspen trees are at their peak color.

Their beautiful shade of yellow set against dark green evergreens and dark rocks look especially beautiful.

We will be using standard sized SUVs with only 4 photographers per vehicle. These vehicles allow for easy movement allowing us space for our equipment.

The price of the tour will include:

- All breakfasts.

- Five nights in the Kelly Inn just outside of the Western gate of Yellowstone National Park. Rate is based on double occupancy. If you don’t have a roommate, we’ll try to find you one. Single supplements will apply where appropriate.

- Five nights in the Signal Mountain Inn inside the Grand Tetons National Park

- All ground transportation while on tour in a spacious Standard size SUV

- Nine full days of photography and 2 half days

The price of the tour does not include:
Round trip transportation from home to airport
Airfare (However, we will secure a group contract with from Delta Airlines with a corresponding group discount.
Lunches
Dinners
Drinks
Items of a personal nature
Anything not specifically mentioned in the “What’s included section”.

All of our hotels will have internet connections. However, internet service and cellular phone service, while available, will be spotty in some places and you may have to go to the main lodge to connect.

    Bill, p.s.
One of our first stops when we arrive, will be at a supermarket to stock up on water and snacks to keep in the car. I'll make sure that we pick up a small cooler to keep in the vehicle that you'll be traveling in. We can stock it with ice one or two times a day and you can keep some food in it for emergency purposes.

    Bill,
I may not have said it as definitively as John but I echo his conclusion. Rest assured that we'll find some way of making sure that you have food when you need it. Marty

I have nothing to add Bill. There are places in the parks to eat. Do you have a schedule for your meals or is it flexible? I concur with Martin.

I have a few questions about lunch and dinner. Being a diabetic, it is important I have regular meals. Will we be near restaurants during the day, or where could a sandwich be purchased? What time will the SUVs drop us at the hotels for dinner?

William, Being a diabetic does present a challenge. It won't always be possible to stop at a restaurant or food service place. The best that we can to is to make stops at a supermarket where you can stock up of food items that will travel well. All our meals will have to be fit in to our photography schedule which will vary from day to day and hour to hour. If you decide to join our group you will have to travel with some food that can travel well, such as peanut butter, canned tuna and other canned and packaged foods. Since the weather will be relatively cool most food will travel well in the car. In addition I plan on having a cooler in the vehicle. You can use it to store some food. We do have 1 or 2 other diabetics on the trip and I don't see any insurmountable problem but we'll need to work on it.

I returned from a great trip to China a week ago. Those of you who were interested but missed it should go if the opportunity arises again. I highly recommend it.

Now we are prepared for another adventure to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Again, if you are interested RSVP that you are going. You have until June to make the final decision but we need to know how many people we should plan for. Lets get "Yellow stoned"

Most of us who have traveled to and photographed in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks consider them the most extraordinary parks in the country. That opinion is shared by many including many international visitors every year. I am a regular visitor and have european friends that visit the park more than I do. You will get some great photos there.
