Come on over and learn how to make yummy Chinese food. The dishes of the event include: Low Mein, Pork Dumplings, Egg Rolls, and dipping sauces. There will be a demonstration on how to make Low Mein so everyone can taste. I will take care of the Mise En Place for the Egg Rolls and Pork Dumplings before everyone arrives so we can focus our time filling the wonton wrappers, refining our wrapping skills, and cooking them off. For the dumpling and egg roll portion of the event, I will set up rotating stations so everyone has a chance to learn each step.
I will put together an electronic copy of all the recipes so you can practice at home later on. I am asking participants to pitch in $5 each for the cost of the supplies. Keep in mind, everyone will be taking home some Pork Dumplings and Egg Rolls.
Due to the logistics of the event, this event is capped at 14 people.
