Ready to try something new!?!?

The Spring sports season is among us....let's play ball!!!

After a fun 3-Season run last year, we are ready to hit the field again!

This will be in informational/interest gathering meeting.

The league we play in is semi-competitive and co-ed.  Players must have their own gloves (at minimum) and be available to play on most Tuesday or Thursday nights beginning at 6:30pm in Raleigh just off of I-40.  The season starts the week of March 12, 2013.  There will be practices scheduled before that time.

If you have questions or cannot make the meeting but are interested, feel free to e-mail me directly or post a comment below.

How competitive is semi-competitive? Sounds like fun, and I'd love to join, but I have not played softball/baseball in a LONG time. Even back in the day I wasn't very good. That being said, I always try my hardest?

If you can throw, catch and have fun, it's all good! :)

Will you be able to make it Tuesday?

Just curious, what level league is the team in?

    February 10, 2013

    • Justine

It is semi-competitive, which is the lowest of our leagues levels....

Is softball that sport where you hit the ball with a stick or something like that?

      Something like that.

    Justine,
I will probably not make the meeting on Tuesday. If you need someone to play on Tuesdays let me know. I can't play on Thursdays. Maybe Michael wants to split the cost and I show up on Tuesdays and he plays on Thursdays.

Sounds like that may work, but the schedule may or may not be 50/50 tues/thurs games...

Are 1 of 2 days OK? I can not make the Tuesday games (by and large). Let me know.

If you and gary want to split a spot on the roster, that might work, but just know that the schedule may or may not be split 50/50 tues/thurs games.

not sure if I can make the meeting...but I'm interested in playing. I'm not good, but I'm not totally bad, and it's more about having fun, right?

    February 8, 2013

    • Justine

Right! If you can't make the meeting, I'll get you the info via email.

      February 9, 2013

Yes, softball. May be possible Gary, but it depends on how many players we have and registration would be the same: +/-$40. Lake Wheeler exit, Jimmy. :-)

Where is the field "just off I40"??? That's a pretty long road

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
