Hi, I'm Jim. I'm into hiking, biking, kayaking, anteeking, and so on.
In a house on a creek.
If I had a favorite place to explore than I wouldn't really be exploring it anymore, would I.
More opportunities to hike, bike, kayak, etc.
That would be very generous of you to let me borrow your kayak. I have a real old aqua terra that a friend is storing for me in Hampstead since apartment livin doesnt allow me to have anything here. My paddle and racks are there too. I do have a life preserver-does this group make us wear one on flatwater? I hope not but understand if you all do. Would you be able to bring your kayak and the one I am borrowing? Thanks Kathy
Welcome to Clean Jordan Lake, Jim
I see from your photo that you are a kayaker as I am also. We see the trash up close and personal. If you have identified areas of trash, please let me know so we can attack them. Thanks for volunteering to join us for our Annual Cleanup Event and also for coming to Burrito Bash. I would enjoy to meet you there!

Thanks for the info on dawn paddles. I will keep an eye out for your posts!
Jim- Meg suggested I email you. Adam and I are looking for more kayaking/canoeing spots in the area - or a quality filter if we have to drive :). I just sent our stuff in to joing SimplyKayaking but would appreciate any advice. I'm generally happy with paddles up to 20-25 mi, Adam would like to find a spot or two where he can put 40+ miles in. So far Badin Lake has been our best find; the Bragg lakes are ok but small. Weekend trips with camping are do-able. Thanks Kelly
HI Jim and welcome to the group. I think I am now in the samlike your age range group, the 'etcs', good bunch of people. Hope you'll head over to Moore County to take part in the meetups.
