Introduction

I am interested in exploring the outdoor environments of this area. I recently relocated from Washington State/Idaho in March. My extended family live southeastern US. Last winter, 20 below, so I am not one to use the excuse "it's just too cold."

What events do you enjoy?

I would enjoy opportunities to hike, backpack, camp, mountain bike, and ride the waterways in a variety of watercraft you mention. Lately, I have been training for the White Rock Half Marathon, and now that it's done I am looking for something else to do. Have friends who ride the country roads on motorcycles from time to time, but I also need to keep the active side of me at work too. I love photographing the events that I participate in, and hope to capture some great times. Anything outdoors is of interest, since I am new to TX I need some guidance in this area.

Will you be willing to host an event?

In time, the more I am exposed to this part of the state of TX, and the whole southwestern US thing, I will be glad to continue researching and find something of interest to this group.
